Topic: Fly Swatter Game-Review

Instructional Objectives:
  • Students should be able to recall information from prior lessons

Opening:
I will begin the class by reminding students that there will be a unit exam on Monday. The classroom board will already be set up with at least 36- 9"x11" index cards taped to it that have key words and concept on them that will be on the exam. I will have a key in from of me that contains the difinitions to the words and concepts. I will also have 3 fly swatters.

Assignment:
The class will be split up into 3 groups. Each group will have a fly swatter. when it is time, the group members that are holding the fly swatters will approach the board. I will read off a difinition and the first student to hit the appropriate index card with their fly-swatter will get a point. After their turns are over, the fly swatters will be passed to the next team mate so that every member will get a turn. The team with the most points will win.
